Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Agent Approve (“Service”), operated by Agent Approve LLC, a California limited liability company, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Agent Approve provides a governance layer for AI coding agents that allows you to review and approve or deny commands from tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and similar AI coding assistants before they execute on your machine.

The Service includes:

  • An iOS/watchOS application for receiving and responding to approval requests
  • Hook scripts installed on your development machine
  • Cloud infrastructure to relay messages between components
  • A web dashboard for configuration

3. Account Registration

You must:

  • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, including any commands approved through the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service to review and approve/deny AI agent commands, configure allowlists and denylists, monitor approval history, and integrate with compatible AI coding tools.

You may NOT use the Service for any illegal purpose, attempt to circumvent security measures, interfere with other users, reverse engineer the Service, transmit malware, or resell the Service without authorization.

5. API Tokens and Security

API tokens grant access to your account. You must keep tokens confidential, not share them with unauthorized parties, and revoke them if you suspect compromise.

While we implement security measures, you are responsible for securing your development environment, reviewing commands before approval, and understanding the implications of approved commands.

6. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or force majeure events.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part) at any time with or without notice.

8. Fees and Payment

Current pricing is $9.99/month or $99/year, with a 7-day free trial for both plans. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's subscription terms. All plans include the same features.

Refund requests should be directed to Apple per their refund policy. We may change pricing with 30 days notice.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Agent Approve LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data. You grant us a license to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party services for functionality such as authentication, data storage, real-time messaging, and payment processing. Your use of any third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. While Agent Approve helps you review AI agent commands, we do not guarantee that all dangerous commands will be caught or that the Service will prevent all security incidents. YOU ARE ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING AND APPROVING COMMANDS.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Agent Approve LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or commands you approved through the Service.

14. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay applicable fees. Upon termination, your access will end and we may delete your data after 30 days.

15. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court. You waive any right to participate in class actions against Agent Approve.

16. General Provisions

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Agent Approve LLC regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
